September Newsletter 2024:
Welcome parents, guardians, and students,
We are so excited to have you join our dance family at Maija Nordin Dance Studio. This is our monthly newsletter that we send out to everyone, post on our social media, and website to keep you all updated and engaged with what happens at the studio. This newsletter is an introduction to how we do things, important dates to write down, and a heads-up on any new information. So please make sure to collect the newsletter the first week of every month and read each one all the way through. There will be information here that isn’t listed anywhere else so it’s extremely important.
Tuition is due in the first week of each month, on the day the student has dance class. Parents are not able to come into the studio, it is a drop off system to keep things calm and collected. We expect the students to stay calm and quiet before and after classes out of respect for the other dancers in class and the other businesses in the area. Parents are expected to uphold this rule as well. Please be dressed for class and have everything you need before you walk into the studio so that we can prioritize teaching dance, this includes using the bathroom before class.

More information on these dates will be sent out for each month and posters for fundraisers will be posted.
October 14th there is no dance class for Indigenous People’s Day.
The week of October 28th to October 31st is dress up week for Halloween.
November 9th is auditions for the showcase (performing in May)
November 25th to November 29th there is no class for Thanksgiving week.
December 20th Winter Break starts.
